Until now, all you needed to use Twuffer was your Twitter username and password. For security reasons, Twitter has recently asked us to use OAuth, and we think that’s a good idea as well. Today we are integrating OAuth for Twitter authentication.
New Twuffer users: welcome!
Registering to use Twuffer is still easy, but will now also include an OAuth process whereby you will need to enter your Twitter username and password to allow Twuffer to post tweets on your behalf.
Current Twuffer users: same ol’ Twuffer-now with OAuth!
We will be creating Twuffer accounts for you. Just log in with your Twitter username and password as usual. Then, the OAuth process will ask you for your Twitter username and password again to grant Twuffer access to post on your behalf.
You will be able to change your Twuffer account credentials after logging in.
Please note that within 48 hours, all users will be required to authenticate via OAuth for tweets to be sent. This includes tweets already in your queue.
* This upgrade may require us to take Twuffer down for a bit. Please bear with us, and reschedule tweets as needed. We’ll send out a tweet notifying you when the change has occurred. Be sure to follow Twuffer.

I am trying to tweet usin your tool, but more than half of the teets never appear in my twitter list. They just go missing. Twuffer pretends they are sent, ut they go nowhere. I do not seem the only one who has this, why is it not addressed?
I have scheduled several tweets to go out today using twuffer - they show up in the scheduled list and yet not of them have actually gone out to twitter and show up on my twitter page! If I do an instant twuffer tweet and get it to post ‘now’ then that appears in my twitter. Schedules posts are just sitting in twuffer and not moving! I’ve scheduled a few tests and these have all been ignored. Off to find something else to use as Twuffer so far has been a complete waste of my time.
