Getting the tweet added notification, but your tweet is missing from the queue?

If you are logged into Twuffer, but are inactive for a while, your session will expire. In short, adding tweets after your session has expired will still give you the “Your tweet was successfully added to the queue.” notification, but the tweet will not show up in your queued tweets.

We’re very sorry about how the “successfully added” thing is basically lying. We’re working on a permanent fix.

Meantime, logging out then back in will remedy the deceitful little bug.

  1. I’m having that issue, but logging out does not fix it. I’ve noticed the idle-time logout thing before, and then your directions always did the trick. But no more. I can log in, and post something that very second and it won’t show up.

  2. I am having this problem even when I have JUST logged on. Sometimes it allows me to queue tweets, other times I just get the notification without the add to the queue. It’s unpredictable. What’s going on?

  3. Logging in again doesn’t work either. Twuffer has never showed any of my tweets even though I chose to have my tweets shown.

  4. This has been happening to me a lot, and I try logging out and logging back in as you suggest, but no fix! I even tried it in a different browser, and nothing. Suggestions?

  5. Even though twuffer says that the tweet was successfully added, but doesn’t show up in the queue, does that mean the tweet will still go out as scheduled? In other words, was it saved but not showing in queue, or what it never saved? And if never saved, then twutter isn’t working at all until fixed?

  6. Logging out and back in doesn’t fix this for me. It’s a frustratingly random error that’s only started happening recently.

  7. Yes, I have this same issue. Successfully added message but it isn’t. Any ETA on this? It, well, um, basically makes the service useless.

  8. Logging in and out, doesn’t fix it for me either. I entered a whole bunch successfully, but then all of a sudden, the problem appeared. I’m only missing a few that will need to be re-entered, but until I know things are fixed, can’t confidently add anymore!

Please let us known when this is permanently fixed. Thanks.

  9. Well it’s a day later now and just logged in to try and continue where I left off yesterday and immediately no tweets are being added, despite notice saying they were added!

So as Karl said above, this makes Twuffer useless and broken. Please post a blog or tweet on Twitter indicating when this will be fixed.

    Thanks.

  10. Twuffer is sweet! But I can’t use it with this bug. Thanks for putting 110% of your energy into fixing it

    Rainbow love forever!

  11. I’m also having a problem posting to twuffer. I’ve logged out and back in several times and nothing is working. Hope it’s fixed soon.

  12. It adds some tweets but not others. for instance, I add “this is a test” and it works. But then I try to add a previously deleted tweet and it does the faking thing… Hmmmm..

  13. Also have not been able to queue up tweets for the past 2 weeks or so. It says it’s successful, but is not added to queue, and does not get tweeted.

  14. Tell us what you are doing. Even if it’s NOTHING. Even if it’s not working. How about an apology or a “get lost” or “goodbye”!

  15. I’m having this issue as well

  16. My scheduled tweets show on the queue but don’t get posted. Started happening this weekend. Anyone know why?

Plus, twuffer is misbehaving with Google Chrome (fatal crash on its home page).Started noticing it this monday. Why?
